Canadian Rapper Drake takes OVO the OXO Tower in London
Flying in R157 Restricted Area and over the Thames requires permissions from NATS (National Air Traffic Service) and the PLA (Port of London Authority). Nothing is too much however when Canadian rapper Drake, who was at the time number 1 in 17 countries with his album “Certified Lover Boy”. We also liaise closely with the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection division of the Met Police to ensure that everyone is aware of what’s happening and to ensure the safety of everyone involved and those nearby. Drake’s record label is OVO and their logo is the owl that you see projected onto the OXO Tower.
Please see below for the images. While up in the air it’s always nice to get some B roll shots too as it’s a real privilege to gain permission to fly in such a prestigious, and indeed a tightly regulated section of London’s airspace.
